All I want is a COKE!!!

I have had a very rough day in the beverage dept.

I had been anticipating since Monday afternoon the homemade Coke that Stimpy was making me and bringing into work Tuesday morning. Sadly he was running late and forgot it in the rush.

I got his text and thought ok well I really want a Coke so I will get one from the vending machine when I'm on my way to my office because I don't think I can wait untill this afternoon!

I seriously just wanted a Coke!!

Since I never carry cash on me I used the vending machine that you can swipe your debt card. I swiped it. It charged me. AND DIDN'T GIVE ME A COKE!!!! I was like you've got to be kidding me!! And then it told me that they weren't accepting cards at the moment, please try again. Um no thanks.

So I suffer through my Terrible Tuesday with no caffeine or sugar.

I leave at lunch and decide to go to CVS and use my ECB's to buy some 2 liters of Coke. I could get them for FREE with my ECB's.

I walk into CVS and find the pop aisle. And I can't believe my eyes.

THEY ARE OUT OF COKE!!

COKE!!

OUT!!

NONE!!

Oh sure there was Diet Coke and Coke Zero, but seriously who drinks that???!!

but NO Regular Coke 2 Liters!!!

I stood in shock and horror and slightly wanting to cry! How could this be? Was God trying to tell me something? Did he not want me to have caffeine today? What is the meaning of this madness? Can't a girl just get a Coke??!!

Finally I gave in and bought a 12 pack of cans. For which I ended up paying 1.69 and I was not very happy about that. I am still mourning the loss of my free-ness. Sniffles..

I have an addiction. And clearly I need to plan ahead better.

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

The Bible Recap Day 45- Leviticus 5-7 (Year Three Podcast)

Welcome back to Leviticus Friends! Today we are in chapters 5-7 and I'll admit on the first pass through of it, while listening to it on my Bible app and reading along, I didn't make a ton of notes. But when I listened to the pod things made more sense, and I got a lot more from it. Which is why I highly reccomend listening to the pod after doing your reading. TL breaks it down and shares historical and meanings of things that those of us not steeped in our Hebrew, might not know.  Things I found interesting: She mentioned that God is the only one who has spoken so far in Leviticus. Tomorrow we get a switchup with Moses and Aaron but so far the first 7 chapters have all been God talking! We talk about blood some more, and she again makes the note that it is a reminder of the fall and that God is working on rebuilding Eden. She also notes that blood is given back to God because God is the giver and taker of life.  A question I had, when we were in 5:11, talking about the rich a...
