Mid Week Confessions

Last week I had email and phone communication with Company ABC that I order products for at work. For two days we went back and forth trying to sort out an invoice discrepancy. Finally, I scanned my paperwork and sent it to them, to try and track down what had happened. 40 minutes later I received an email from my contact explaining what had happened. The invoice was for a DIFFERENT COMPANY. Could be why she couldn't pull up our invoice numbers or the correct account number. I was hugely embarrassed and decided we could never order from that company ever again.

I get my news and weather updates from Twitter. I had no clue we were under a Tornado Warning until I saw Tyler had tweeted it.

Sometimes, ok alot of times, I wait to do my dishes until 1. my sink is full or 2. i run out of glasses. I just HATE doing dishes in my sink and my dishwasher doesn't work.

I am pretty doggone excited about spending the coming weekend on my couch. I have been somewhere 3 out of the past 4 weekends, and next weekend I'll be gone visiting family as well. I feel like I'm headed in 5 different directions every day of the week. I can't wait to not have anywhere to go but to Church!

It's a little goofy, but I made an email address for Audra's dog, Cubbie, and have been emailing her and her hubs with updates and pictures from him this week so they wouldn't miss him. A few people laughed at me when I told them this but I thought it was GENIUS!!

ahh there's nothing better than a weekend at home. Order pizza and stock up on Diet Cokes (or whatever else you love) and don't move from that comfy place all weekend! :)

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
