It's me, Charity

I really don't even know where to begin with this post. This book was the best book I have ever read. I picked it up thinking it would be a fun way to pass the time- a cute, romantic comedy. But in reality it ended up being way more than I had expected. The premise of the book was a girl in her 30's who had never been married and was looking for men in every which where. Looking for a husband, trying to force situations that weren't good, the whole shebang. Instead of it being a humorous book it was very, I don't know, I don't even know how to put it into words. I cried through most of the book. Simply because, this girl, it was me. It was SO ME. I am so afraid that I will end up alone and never be married that if I see any male that fits the bare minimum of my requirements I go after him, and immediately have us married off in my mind, and try to scheme and plan how we can get together. And yes, I admit it. I google stalk. Don't look at me like you've never...

I fell in love with this pair of heels that I found in Walmart this week. Sadly, I have not worn heels in over 4 years and with the issues from my ankle last year, I can't wear them anymore. I tried desperately to walk in these and basically fell down in the shoe aisle. Pretty embarassing. Beautiful shoes though.. I am still mourning not getting to wear them! I guess its a good thing God made me tall 5'9" 1/2... These boots however I think I could do! I have been seriously wanting a pair of cowboy boots for some time now. I keep trying to win them from the Pioneer Woman, yeah thats not working. I'm hoping to get these for Christmas.. Anyone else want to give me shoes? Size Ten Please! Yes, I have massive feet. Shut it!!

Well as many have asked me what my exciting news is.. Many.. ha.. by Many I mean three.. but that is many to me!! I figured it was time to share with y'all.. Some of you know this and its news to others of you.. As of January I am going to be a full time college student. Thats right, I am finally biting the bullet and going back for my Bachelors so I can teach. I'm excited, alittle nervous, but mostly really excited! I'm doing an all online program so that I can work and be flexible with my time. Hopefully I will graduate in two years or less and then start teaching at Ivy Tech, and gasp, working on my Masters. I don't even want to THINK about working on my Masters!!! Ever since I graduated I have planned to do this. But the timing was never right and I was never motivated enough to get with it and just buckle down and do it. But now, the timing is perfect and I am really excited to start and work towards my goal.. Wish me luck!!

1. Today is my parents 33rd Wedding Anniversary! 33 years and two kids later they are still madly in love!! 2. I scored a pair of black wedge dress shoes at Payless today with the fabulous 50% off everything in the store Oprah coupon. Man I wish I had more money with all of the clearance items being half off as well... It was hard!! 3. Dog n Suds closes tomorrow. I finally got a coney dog today!! 4. I now have a cute little Miss Charity babysitting bag that has special goodies in it. I'm bringing it with me to small group tonight. Hopefully they kids will like the goodies!! 5. I really can't wait to have kids of my own. But I really do like my sleep. 6. I hate it when the bottom of my pants get wet from the rain. I thought about blowdrying them but they would only get wet again when i leave in 50 mins:( 7. I love rain. However I hate driving in rain. Especially at night. :(

I hadn't been in YEARS so I was pretty excited! We had a lovely meal and a fun time just chatting.. Bethanne is a HOOT and so much like her mother it was almost scary! Wish I had gotten a pictur e of her too!! Anyways I was so proud, Emily and Bethy remembered it was Pink Weds and both wore pink!! YAYS!! SO proud, sniff sniff.. a tear!! And take note of my necklace please, its Vintage! My Mom had it in HS!! :)

So it has been brought to my attention that I am lacking in the blog dept! You would think with more spare time I would be blogging non stop! Alas there is not much exciting things to blog about. I will have an update later this week with my exciting news! :) Other than that life is nice and quiet and I love that! Sunday afternoon I went with Katie to get her hair cut. She wimped out when we got there and didn't chop it as much as I was expecting and hoping!! But I was a good girl and didn't say anything even though she said my face said it all! :) Her hair cut did turn out really good though! I am continually amazed at how good of a hair cut you can get at my local great clips for such a little amount of money! As we were finishing up I saw this guy who looked ALOT like this guy I went to Youth Group with. Well actually it looked like his Dad, but i'm pretty sure it wasn't. He had a little boy with him though so I was confused. He looked at me and gave me a weird look ...

1. Worship music at my church. It gets my soul a-goin! 2. A Sunny halfway warm day. 3. Talking to people at church. 4. The perfect pair of dark jeans. 5. A fairly clean apt. 6. A possible trip on the horizon! 7. Being able to rejoice with the Sabens about their adoption. Jesus moves mountains!! 8. Feeling good and being able to go to Sunday church TWO weeks in a row!! (this is huge for my sickly self, HUGE) 9. Finding out that my fave cheap ligloss has NOT been discountinued, its just only carried at certain stores in town. YAYS!! 10. Talking to Joey on the phone this morning. Today is his birthday. He was so excited! 11. Bananas 12. Finding out that its not my chocolate syrup that tasted weird, it was the off brand ice cream!
