7 things Friday!

Well here it is,the first 7 randoms of 2009!! WOW!!

1. Not only is my ankle still severely sprained, but I have also torn some ligaments in it. Because of that I get to start doing Physical Therapy if I ever want to have any range of motion in it. GREAT.

2. I stayed awake for almost 24 hours on NYE. I haven't stayed up that late in AGES. Consequently, I have slept almost all day today!!

3. For the first time in my almost 27 years of life, I played a video game. On NYE at Katie and Roberts. And you know what it was actually FUN! Even though I lost almost everytime!!

4. My favorite place in the entire world (other than the beach) is my parents couch in their living room. I swear it is the most comfortable piece of furnature I have ever sat/laid on..

5. I am going to be a bridesmaid in my second wedding this year!! Caca asked me if I would be a bridesmaid in her wedding this August and I was honored to say yes. SO now, not only am I going to NC for the wedding but I am in it as well!! Hello again, Diet!!

6. I have spent everyday since Sunday Cleaning. I cleaned my apt, every room but the kitchen (that will be monday) and I cleaned our office at work. I even cleaned the windows. I don't know what it is but I have been in a huge cleaning, organizing mode.

7. The best moment of this entire week was when I surprised Joey and brought him a CD with his favorite song on it. Seeing his little 4 yr old face light up and his little body start jumping around with excitement made me so happy!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

The Bible Recap Day 45- Leviticus 5-7 (Year Three Podcast)

Welcome back to Leviticus Friends! Today we are in chapters 5-7 and I'll admit on the first pass through of it, while listening to it on my Bible app and reading along, I didn't make a ton of notes. But when I listened to the pod things made more sense, and I got a lot more from it. Which is why I highly reccomend listening to the pod after doing your reading. TL breaks it down and shares historical and meanings of things that those of us not steeped in our Hebrew, might not know.  Things I found interesting: She mentioned that God is the only one who has spoken so far in Leviticus. Tomorrow we get a switchup with Moses and Aaron but so far the first 7 chapters have all been God talking! We talk about blood some more, and she again makes the note that it is a reminder of the fall and that God is working on rebuilding Eden. She also notes that blood is given back to God because God is the giver and taker of life.  A question I had, when we were in 5:11, talking about the rich a...
