Ahh.... I feel better now!!

I'm sorry if this picture grosses anyone out, but I thought I would show y'all why I was so sick! This is the inside of my stomach, the picture on the left is what my stomach looked like beforehand. The tiny tiny opening at the bottom is about the size of an eraser on a pencil. That is the opening that all my food was supposed to go through after eating.

The picture on the right is what my stomach looks like now and is SUPPOSED to look like. As you can see the opening for my food to pass through is MUCH MUCH bigger.

So its really no wonder I was so sick and in so much pain all this time!! I am so glad I had this done again. God bless Botox!!!!

My GI specialist said that his partner at IU Med Center is actually specializing in this field of delayed stomach emptying.. (It has a fancy name, I just can't spell it!!) So I think I will be paying him a visit in the next few months to see if there is anything other than this surgery that I can do to feel good.

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo! My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable. My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size! Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!
