Precious would like to say a big HELLO to all of her faithful blog readers. Even though they never comment on her cuteness and abnormally white teeth for a bovine..


I did get to go home this weekend and spend some time with my family, including my Momma, who is pictured above. I know. You couldn't tell we were related at all could you?


The highlight of the trip was seeing my bro and sil who were there from Iowa... OK well really the highlight was drinking my mom's famous punch , but details:)
Sadly I had a wicked migraine on Saturday so I spent pretty much the entire day in bed. That stunk. I was planning on hanging out with my SIL Liz, and looking forward to it! :(
We did have a small birthday celebration on Sunday after church. The big celebration will be tomorrow and Saturday. Tomorrow is my birthday party with friends at Olive Garden and then Saturday my parents are coming to celebrate with me and Kim! YAYS! I CANNOT WAIT!!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

  Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
