Surgery

Update-

Grams is having surgery around 5:30-6pm tonight in Rensselear. I wanted to go home but can't leave work early and my Mom told me to stay here and come home tomorrow as planned. So I am stressing and freaking out about not being able to be there for her. And to tell her I love you before she goes into surgery, and to be able to comfort her after she gets out of surgery and is in pain and let her know that it all went ok. I want to be there. I NEED to be there. But my need is more of a need to control, and of course I have no control over the situation. So all I can do is pray and trust God with her and the surgery. Which is a lot easier to say then do when you really love someone..

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Injured Pink Weds

Well since my foot is all wrapped up in gauze ect I cant' fit my foot into any of my shoes, so slipper time it is. And of course I have obnoxious, sparkly cherry slippers that go with nothing! please excuse the paleness of my chicken legs.
