Apt Hunting

So I'm pretty excited. Today after work Katie is coming with me to go look at this FABULOUS apt I would LOOVVVVEEEE to move to this summer!!

My year and a half lease is up in July, thank goodness I don't have to move in the winter.. AGAIN!!! And I am looking for a new place. A quieter place. A Peaceful place. A place without students that like to crank their ghetto thugging music up so loud that it overpowers my television. Somedays I wonder if that place exists other than in the country! There is definately something to be said for peaceful country living.. But untill I have money to buy a house and land in the country, I live in town. In apartments. yay.

As Apartments go these are very nice. Hard wood floors, granite counter tops, windows, security enabled entrance, COVERED PARKING!! YESSSSSSSSSS!! And heat and high speed internet is included. now I just have to make sure there isn't a maximum on the heat. Like those crazy people who set theirs at 68. I would freeze to death. 72 or die!!

All in all it looks perfect. We'll see if it ends up that way.

And did I mention the elevator?! No more carrying stuff up flights up stairs!! WAHOOO!!

Most of the winter, my heat never made it over 65! :) I was too afraid of the gas bill, so we bundled up around the house instead.

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

New Bedroom Decor!

Every Year my SIL outdoes herself with the gifts she gave us the year before. This year was no exception! She made this amazing picture for me. If you look close all of the pieces of the heart are small pictures of me and my friends! I was amazed! I still can't get over it! I just love it so much!  So I decided to hang it above my bed. I don't have a headboard and I have really felt like my room was lacking something to pull it together. I think this picture does it nicely! And yes, I sleep with a stuffed animal. I'm single, don't judge! I also sleep with 5 pillows. I tend to fall out of bed. They are like my bumpers! HA! Seriously though I just love it and it's so neat to look at all the pics of different friends and stages in my life and remember all of the fun memories! Thanks Liz!!
