Bits and Pieces

I am going to get my hair layered tonight and am Super Excited!! It hasn't been properly layered since April and my hair grows so fast that my really short layers are now just about a half an inch shorter than the length of my hair so I look like some sort of weird mullet. Its not attractive in the least!

Getting it done tonight so in case they do something horrific my hair will have a chance to recover by the time I leave for Caca's wedding next month. I can't be having bad bridesmaid hair!!

As you know its Pink Weds and in honor of that I am wearing a light pink top and a denimn skirt. I would look fabulous except for the fact that it wasn't even 8:15 and I managed to spill two spots of coke on my shirt. Since then I have added another spot. Seriously, I cannot keep myself clean! I should just wave goodbye to the dream of ever wearing white...

This morning I went over to Food Science and participated in one of their taste tests. I love doing them because you get free stuff! You always get free food, snacks and such, but several times you get giftcards! TEN DOLLAR GIFTCARDS!! The one I got today was for Best Buy, I have also gotten them to Target and Starbucks! All for 5 mins of my time! ROCK ON!! I'm hoping they have another tomorrow so I can rack up some more giftcards :)

Katie gets back tonight and starts working at her new job tomorrow. I am SOOOOO EXCITED!! We've talked on the phone almost every night that she's been gone so thats been cool. But I have missed her face and missed seeing my bubbies!! Hopefully next week I will get to spend some time with them and i plan on hugging and kissing Joey and Sam Sam all over. They love it when I come over:) Mental note, return Joey's Speed Racer to him...

  Once again I was lucky enough to be on the ARC team for another book by LJ Evans. Since I have discovered LJ she has become one of my top 5 must read authors. LJ’s books are like Christmas Day. This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!!
