An Open Letter to Comcast

Dear Comcast

I tried to give you a chance. I really did. You came into Lafayette and took over Insight which I loved, but I tried to keep my mind open and give you a chance. I regret to say that you have lived up to your name as Crapcast and Craptastic.

I usually don't speak up when things bother me, especially to people in Customer Service because I know how hard it is when you work with the public. But today you have thrown me over the edge. I am NOT happy and I refuse to take this lying down. (or sitting down as I am, whatever)

You little "chat help people" not so much of a help comcast, not so much of a help at all.

Not only do I have to wait forever and a day for them to get to me in the queue but then I have to wait and wait for them to pull up my file and try to verify that yes, I HAVE complained about this before, but alas the last idiot did not feel the need to make notes on my account.

Let me spell this out for you Comcast.

I didn't order Showtime Unlimited. Truth be known I am not even really sure what it is, or where I even find it. Oh but that didn't stop you Comcast, oh no. You have now charged me 16.99 TWO MONTHS IN A ROW for something I didn't order, and don't use.

Oh your tricky little chat help person said they would take it off of my account last month and credit me for it. But they didn't. No they didn't at all. And the idiot chat person I am talking to right now, apparently is checking my records in stinking TURKEY, and apparently is walking there to get them and come back.

Comcast, you suck. And I really don't like you very well..

Sincerely

a not happy customer

NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
