Many don't know this, but when I was in college, I had a dream of working in the FBI. Yes, me, wimpy, scared of sounds after I read a mystery, has to double check all the locks every night, me.
I've just always wanted to do something that helped, something that mattered. And after 911 that was even more prevalent.
Well I am nowhere near the FBI, but I am training for it at my APT complex.
I have allready been the Loud Music Patrol- I WILL call the cops and complain about you to the main office!
But now I also the accident police.
I was sitting here innocently about 20 mins ago, typing away on my laptop, enjoying the cool air coming through my screen door to my balcony. Birds were chirping, leaves are rustling and all of the sudden CCRRRRUUUUNNNNNNNCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Never a good sound.
I look outside and someone has rear-ended what I recognize as my next door neighbors jeep. They didn't look to concerned so I took down the make, model and color of the car, and tried to commit the ladies face to memory. You know, should I have to pick her out of a line up or anything of that matter.
I thought I had better go next door and warn the poor people, lest the people drive off. I felt so bad knocking on someone's door and asking them if they drove a jeep, and oh yeah, Sorry but I'm pretty sure someone just hit your vehicle, you might want to check it out.. I hate giving bad news. :(
She grabbed her hubby and they went outside to check, apparently the offenders had stopped and were writing a letter to leave on the jeep. At that moment what went through my mind was...... "um..... that dent was there before.. right??!" haahahh Amey!!
It was pretty lucky for them, they are the only neighbors who i actually know what they drive and what room they are in. And I really only know that because of their huge MASSIVE dog, who tries to be my friend (or at least thats what I'm telling myself!) everytime I run into them in the stair way. And ok. Everytime I park in the parking lot he tries to jump out the window. But I'm sure its just because he's really friendly.. Right??!!
Never a dull moment here..
