Why Delta SUCKS

I am SO ticked off at Delta Airlines right now its not even funny!

I had to cancel my flight to NC for Caca's wedding and when I contacted Orbitz about getting a refund or voucher, they instructed me to call their TLC number and they would help me.

So I did that today and actually got someone right away, very nice, very helpful I liked her.

Unfortunately for some reason Delta had taken over my cancellation so I needed to speak with them. Ms Nice Lady@Orbitz was able to transfer me to a Delta agent after about 15 mins of being on hold.

That is when it went downhill in a hurry.

I got some operator from who knows where, that didn't seem to understand me very well, but she understood me enough to tell me that I could not get a voucher without paying ANOTHER 200.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My flight was 172.90 and yet to get a voucher for that flight I have to pay MORE THAN THE FLIGHT WAS to get another flight!

In what alternate universe does this make sense?!

So I got ticked off and told her I wasn't interested in that at all.

I typed up a strongly worded complaint and TRIED to use the Email Us form on sucky Delta's website but everytime I fill the form out and submit it, they say there was an error and it cannot be used at this time. This has been going on for two hours now.

I am so dadgummed ticked off over their piece of crap customer service and policies! I am going to keep fighting and keep going off about this untill i get a refund or a voucher WITHOUT PAYING MONEY!!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
