7 Quick Takes!

1. Word to your Motha has become one of my favorite new sayings. I like to put it with “Amen, Hallelujah and word to your Motha!”

2. I have to once again exclaim my love for NSYNC Pandora. It seriously plays the best music EVAH!!!!

3. I am getting a lot of people that want me to make them personalized bling bling headbands! So excited! I have to go get some more supplies so I can do them next craft night! And yes, my thumb is finally healing from its burn.. L

4. I cannot tell you the level of excited I am to be at the Farm for three days and get un-interrupted sleep!!!!!

5. Thursday I was extremely coordinated in my outfit. I wore a short pheasant style skirt that was blue and the blue of my dress matched the blue of my bruises on my legs from moving my bed and dresser!

6. Oh by the way I moved my bed and dresser Tuesday night in hopes of that helping the neighbor sound situation. I was rather proud of myself, Independent Woman for moving them without help! Of course I am all bruised and scraped and my lower back hurts like none other, but details.

7. This weekend starts the FUN of Sept!!! Next Week my bro and sil come to town for a week!! YAYS!! I’m having lunch with Emboz and the bump for the last time before she gives birth and spending the next weekend at the farm again with the whole family! Most likely the last time all together at the farm before the Project comes!! YAY
FOR SEPT!!!

Did you mean a _peasant_ style skirt or an actual pheasant feather skirt. If it's the latter, I have got to see that. :P

I wish I worked with you. You are so hilarious! Of course, you wouldn't accept a job at my office cause we can't listen to Pandora. Hmmm...

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
