Date with the Madster!

Ok so these pictures are alittle out of order but I got to spend time with the Madster on Weds night while her Mommy got to go pamper herself for a little bit! She was such a good baby! She gave me my first smile and giggled at me!! It was sooo sweet!! She did get alittle hungry and was fighting sleep, I think she just wanted to hang out with me more :) But I did get her to take two 20 min naps! yay me!!
This is hilarious!!!! I was cold so I got out a blankie, she must be warm blooded because she was not interested in it. When I got the blankie I saw this ADORABLE hat in her room and I thought how cute would she look in it? So I put it on her and she was NOT.A.FAN.

I got rid of the hat and she was back to her happy, chill little self! Its so cute she thinks she is a big girl and has to be sitting up like a big girl. She didn't like it when i was holding her like a baby. She needed to be sitting up so she could watch tv!

Just chillin out!

We had a mini photo shoot, i posted the whoel sequence of photos on fb, it as so funny, she has such an expressive face and makes the funniest faces! She was cracking me up!!!

She wanted to keep watching E! news instead of posing for pics :)

During her second nap. Man she conked out and was dead to the world!!!! This is when I realized I had to pee and couldn't put her down! She did wake up a little later and I couldn't hold it anymore and officially learned how to hold a baby in one arm while peeing. I think I am officially ready for Motherhood now. Obviously I can multi task :)

And this was just precious. She held my finger the entire time while she slept. She had a grip on it too! Love that precious baby girl!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
