Open Table Night!!

Thursday night was our monthly Open Table night at church! I love going and hanging out with my Bible Study Babes! Especially now that we have finished our study for spring :( Here is my Bryna and her friend (who I can't remember her name because I am in the throes of Advanced Elderly age memory loss) with their FABULOUS glue Guns! I love them! And I totally want one like that!! Here is the project the Valster was working on. Easter Cards! After I left, (of course) I had the brilliant idea that next month instead of torturnig people taking their picture, I'm going to take pictures at the end of what they worked on! That way people can come in their yoga pants and pony tails with no fear:) And some of the crafts they do are super amazing! I am in awe of what you can do with a Cricut! So stay tuned for next month's post!! You will be blown away!
Bryna and I are trying to branch out and not have every single picture we have together being taken in the Ministry Center! ha! So we took our customary picture outside! And I love it! I think it might be the best picture we've taken together so far! And it is partially because of my fabulous new hair do from her! I'm telling you she is a miracle worker! And a sweet sweet gal!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
