Weekly Phone Dump

So I decided to hop on the weekly phone dump post, since I take alot of random pics during the week but never really have a post for all of them.

Since we're hosting the Superbowl TODAY!! Lot's of Superbowl'ish things are going on around town. My work hosted one of the Indy Cars that were made for the NFL. So I took a pic for my NASCAR obsessed bff.
I would really like to know how they got the car inside though. I'm going to have to investigate that on Monday!!
Here are the verses I am working on for February. The bottom one is becoming somewhat of a life verse for me with my health issues.
SPEAKING of health issues... I was sick, still am, and had no voice until Thursday. Wednesday I had to make this sign to hang at my desk because everyone was confused as to why i was whispering to them. It definitely made for a difficult day at work when 75% of your job is talking to people in person or on the phone. Not being able to speak was hard.

Totally understand the no talking issue! I didn't have much of a voice this week...so communicating with my 28 5th graders involved lots of sticky notes!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

New Bedroom Decor!

Every Year my SIL outdoes herself with the gifts she gave us the year before. This year was no exception! She made this amazing picture for me. If you look close all of the pieces of the heart are small pictures of me and my friends! I was amazed! I still can't get over it! I just love it so much!  So I decided to hang it above my bed. I don't have a headboard and I have really felt like my room was lacking something to pull it together. I think this picture does it nicely! And yes, I sleep with a stuffed animal. I'm single, don't judge! I also sleep with 5 pillows. I tend to fall out of bed. They are like my bumpers! HA! Seriously though I just love it and it's so neat to look at all the pics of different friends and stages in my life and remember all of the fun memories! Thanks Liz!!
