wwiw

It's time for this week's edition of wwiw (what i wore wednesday) hosted by The Pleated Poppy not tons of exciting outfits this week. Here we have last Thursdays outfit. It was pretty warm outside, so I felt like wearing a skirt and bare legs. I really love this bright pink skirt!
Wore my new pink bow earrings from forever 21. they are sooo cute!!!

Another shot. I struggled with pictures that day. And finding where to take pictures has been hard! I don't know how y'all do it! Do you have people take your picture??
Monday I finally found a half decent spot with lighting and somewhere to put my camera. Hello Spare room!! This day i met up with some friends at the Beauty Supply store and got 6, yes I said 6 cans of Big Sexy Hairspray. It was on a major sale so I stocked up!!

I don't know what i'm supposed to be looking at but other bloggers do this pose so I tried it as well! :) I have to confess i changed my cardi right before i left. I don't know if it was because it was almost 60 outside or the fact that I had a small fever with my sinus infection but i was sweating like craaazzyyy! So i put a 3/4 length sleeve cardi on with it.

I was really proud of myself for having earrings AND a necklace on! Although I've found it's hard for people to see my earrings with all of my hair. Oh well!!

Here we have Tuesdays outfit. I really liked this look! I got the dress from Zulilly, paired it with leggings, and then added a t shirt scarf and flower that my Mom had made for me! First time I have worn a scarf for fashion!

Only thing I would change about this outfit would be to wear a black cami underneath. It was rather sheer so I put a white one underneath and I think black would have looked better.
And here we are today for Pink Weds! I didn't wear any jewelry today, and went for a comfy look. I have an afternoon full of Piano Lessons, and it's super cold outside, so I just wanted to be comfy.
I think I"m starting to get some of these Official Blogger Poses down :)

I"m glad I started joining in on the WWIW, it's definitely making me think more about my outfits and hopefully look a bit more put together. As well as not wearing the same thing every week which is what I struggle with!

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

New Bedroom Decor!

Every Year my SIL outdoes herself with the gifts she gave us the year before. This year was no exception! She made this amazing picture for me. If you look close all of the pieces of the heart are small pictures of me and my friends! I was amazed! I still can't get over it! I just love it so much!  So I decided to hang it above my bed. I don't have a headboard and I have really felt like my room was lacking something to pull it together. I think this picture does it nicely! And yes, I sleep with a stuffed animal. I'm single, don't judge! I also sleep with 5 pillows. I tend to fall out of bed. They are like my bumpers! HA! Seriously though I just love it and it's so neat to look at all the pics of different friends and stages in my life and remember all of the fun memories! Thanks Liz!!
