Last Week...

Last Weds I had to get up at an un-Godly hour to be ready for the carpet cleaners coming to my home. Since I teach later at night I do not get up early! It was a little rough! Needless to say the next day I slept until 1 pm! I convinced Emboz to go to breakfast with me. Here I am at her house ringing and ringing the doorbell. Just praying she would let me in. She finally did thank goodness!!
I drove us to Bob Evans where we had a lovely breakfast with this stinker. She is just SO funny! In this picture I was trying to get her to look at me, and kept saying, Madi, Madi, look at me! She turns and says YESSSSSSS???? with this cheesy face. Love that stinker!!
After I dropped them off back at their house I ran a quick errand for my Mom and then decided that I was going to take myself to a movie! I have not been in a movie theatre since I don't remember when. I seriously don't remember the last one I saw. It's been at least 2 years. I do love going to a movie in the middle of the day though! There are usually very few people there and sometimes I even have the theater to myself! There were a few people at this one, but less than 10 so it was nice! I of course snuck my drink from Bob Evans in my purse :)

I remember when I was in hs, and Tracy and I used to sneak in entire Mcdonalds value meals into the 1.00 theater after church. Ahhh memories!

Thankfully the movie was two hours long! Afterwards I stopped at Dog N Suds and then got some grocieries and came home to my house 5 hours after I had left it. The carpet was SOPPING wet. SOPPING. So I ran to the kitchen to deposit my groceries and then ran back to the couch and stayed there for hours. It was worth it though, my carpet feels soooo nice and looks great!!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

The Bible Recap Day 45- Leviticus 5-7 (Year Three Podcast)

Welcome back to Leviticus Friends! Today we are in chapters 5-7 and I'll admit on the first pass through of it, while listening to it on my Bible app and reading along, I didn't make a ton of notes. But when I listened to the pod things made more sense, and I got a lot more from it. Which is why I highly reccomend listening to the pod after doing your reading. TL breaks it down and shares historical and meanings of things that those of us not steeped in our Hebrew, might not know.  Things I found interesting: She mentioned that God is the only one who has spoken so far in Leviticus. Tomorrow we get a switchup with Moses and Aaron but so far the first 7 chapters have all been God talking! We talk about blood some more, and she again makes the note that it is a reminder of the fall and that God is working on rebuilding Eden. She also notes that blood is given back to God because God is the giver and taker of life.  A question I had, when we were in 5:11, talking about the rich a...
