So every month I try to link up with Mix and Match Mama for the What's Up Wednesday. It's done the last Weds of every month. For some reason this month she did it a week earlier but here I am on the last Weds ready to go!! So let's do this!!

What I'm Eating this week: Well Tuesday night was my Studio's Recital and it's a tradition to stop at Buck Creek Pizza and eat their AMAZING cheese pizza on the way home. Needless to say, I'm still eating it :)

What I'm reminiscing about: I have been getting a little misty eyed seeing how much my students have grown, physically and in their piano skills, since last year's recital. They are growing up right before my eyes! and I'm not too sure how I feel about that! ha!

What I'm loving: I'm loving the fact that Thanksgiving is over and it's officially The Christmas Season which means no one can say anything about my tree and decorations being up. I'm also loving that it's finally scarf weather!! #WearAllTheScarves

What I've been up to: Well as I said the Recital was last night so I've been knee deep in prep. I've also been Christmas shopping, Crafting, and at home at the farm celebrating Thanksgiving with my parents and some friends!

What I'm dreading: Nothing at the moment! I'm on the glorious slide of only three more weeks of lessons! WAHHOOOOOOOO!!!

What I'm working on: I have started making the 2016 Ornaments for my students. They are 40% done. I also need to start baking all of the treats! I have to make so much that i'm trying to bake ahead and freeze so I don't spend an entire weekend baking food.

What I'm Excited about: My Nephews are coming in a few weeks and I will get to spend Two Full Days with them!!! I'm pretty pumped about that! Also very excited for my two weeks Christmas break. This teacher needs a vacation.

What I'm watching/reading: I just watched Elementary almost all the way through again, I started on White Collar (again) but it hasn't fully sucked me in yet.

What I'm listening to: Bing Crosby Pandora and NYSNC Holiday Pandora :)

What I'm Wearing: Last night I wore my new fancy black lace dress and not gonna lie, I felt slightly like a princess. Today I'm wearing leggings, a cardigan, plain black dress and a scarf. Oh and my blue heart slippers.

What I'm doing this weekend: Hopefully relaxing! The last few weeks have been super busy so it would be nice to relax some! Preferably from the comfort of my couch, with Christmas lights twinkling.

What I'm looking forward to next month:

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What else is new: I'm not surethat it's new but I have just been very busy! This time of year is extra busy when you are a music teacher and a performer. I've got one concert down, one recital down, and another concert next week. Thankfully I happen to LOVE Christmas Music:)

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
