Well it's almost been two weeks ago, but better late than never!

Last week I ended my Sunday by starting this Amazing book by Lynn H. Blackburn! After reading this book she has become a new favorite author! Review coming soon!
Monday was sunny and I was comfy and cozy relaxing while teaching with my comfy shoes and a foot rest. Some days just call for foot rests.
I got this huge christmas mug at a garage sale with my Mom but didn't want to wait until Christmas to use it. I am that person that's using a snowman coffee cup in July.

Thursday I was sporting some sunglasses that i, yup, you guessed it! got at a garage sale. And yes I washed them in my sink. It was also warm enough for a sleeveless shirt and yes that is a blue tank top that doesn't match the pink shirt i am wearing. Mid day outfit change and i was too lazy to dirty up another tank top that matched. I ran some errands, got my allergy shot and treated myself to a coke icee at Target.
A little quality music education was happening in the waiting room that afternoon.

Don't wanna close my eyes.........

Friday my Mom was here and mowed for me, and I noticed my right ear was a little fluidy. By Saturday my ear was plugged and i couldn't hear out of it! i didn't feel bad, so i debated on whether t go do something about it but i finally decided i should go to urgent care while i felt ok to get it checked out.
It was a really good choice! I was in and out in 15 mins and discovered i had a really nasty middle ear infection and was even running a fever. Who knew?! They gave me antibiotics and told me it would be 3-4 days on the meds until i felt better. Since I really felt fine other than not being able to hear, I wasn't concerned.

Spoiler alert.

I should have been.
The rest of the weekend was spent on the couch, laying on a heating pad trying to get my ear to drain, and catching up on all the back episodes of Greys Anatomy.

And that was the end of week 18.

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
