This probably could be entitled the week I drank a ton of coffee from Dunkin Donuts.

SO really, not a bad week!

On Monday I started my week long project of making a wedding present for some dear friends that were getting married at the end of the week!
And somehow I never took any pictures until Thursday. Still blazingly hot outside, getting ready to teach a skype lesson.

Friday night I finished my present which was good because....
Saturday was the wedding!!And we went from super hot outside to rather chilly! It was great!! I busted out the maxi dress, long sleeved cardigan and a scarf. Which the latter I managed to somehow drag thru cupcake icing at the reception. Whoops.

Despite the fact that I went to the WRONG CHURCH. I made it on time for the wedding, and it was beautiful! Shawn cried when Laura walked up the aisle, just like I knew he would! And I might have cried a little too. The vows man... The Vows ALWAYS get me!!

They had a backyard bbq reception and it was prefect weather! They had cute fall decorations and it was just very chill and relaxing. I sat with a group of people from our church and made some new friends!
They were so cute during their first dance!!
I went to tell them goodbye and had them open their present because I REAAALLLLLLLYYYY wanted to see the looks on their faces!

They loved it!!!!!! YAY!!! And can we just discuss how stunningly gorgeous that bride is!!!!!!! I mean, I think she should wear her wedding dress and veil (oh how I loved that veil!!) everyday!!
Selfie with Mr and Mrs G!!!!!
And that leaves us with today! It's still nice and cool outside, so I busted out my pirate shirt and another scarf for church today. I will say, if your church has name tags, don't put yours on your scarf. I made that mistake and everytime I put my head down to take notes i had to tug my scarf down. I was having massive scarf issues!

Happy Fall Y'all!!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

This is My Love Story

In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. That night I gave my life to Christ and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I was his, and going to Heaven. In the years that followed I continued to be very active in church. I played the Piano and was in charge of Sunday night offertory, I was t...

The Bible Recap Day 45- Leviticus 5-7 (Year Three Podcast)

Welcome back to Leviticus Friends! Today we are in chapters 5-7 and I'll admit on the first pass through of it, while listening to it on my Bible app and reading along, I didn't make a ton of notes. But when I listened to the pod things made more sense, and I got a lot more from it. Which is why I highly reccomend listening to the pod after doing your reading. TL breaks it down and shares historical and meanings of things that those of us not steeped in our Hebrew, might not know.  Things I found interesting: She mentioned that God is the only one who has spoken so far in Leviticus. Tomorrow we get a switchup with Moses and Aaron but so far the first 7 chapters have all been God talking! We talk about blood some more, and she again makes the note that it is a reminder of the fall and that God is working on rebuilding Eden. She also notes that blood is given back to God because God is the giver and taker of life.  A question I had, when we were in 5:11, talking about the rich a...
