49/52

Week 49 started off with church on Sunday!
Monday the neighbor's trash bin got picked up, and It was really interesting to watch how they attached it and pulled it right up! I am easily entertained.

One of my Bible study friends is super craft and had made us each a cute little tree! I put mine in the studio! It's so pretty!
Tuesday brought Concert #3 of 4. I played for a Christmas dinner and it was so cozy! I play for this dinner every year and it's one of my favorite Christmas traditions.

The piano is on a riser, so when you are pedaling for an hour and a half straight it can really make you foot, leg and hip sore. So I brought books to prop up my pedaling foot with and it worked quite nicely!
And look who showed up at the end of the dinner? SANTA!!

 And his wife!!
Thursday morning was my turn to bring treats to bible study, so I made my Apple Cinnamon Pull apart bread, with cream cheese icing. I might have gotten a little carried away with the icing, but I heard no complaints!
That evening the making of 900 million treats for Christmas party in your lesson week commenced!

The week ended with Serving Sunday!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
