This week started off with a guest for #CouchChurch ! He was more excited than he looks, I promise!

Monday, we were supposed to get some nasty weather, rain, feeling rain, snow and sleet. So I got out of bed early, took a quick shower and threw some clothes and a mask on and ran out to get my allergy shots before the weather got bad. I was walking into the building at 8:32 am and was real excited to be the first one to get a shot that day..... until they informed me someone had already been there,, so i lost my title and was demoted to second. Sigh...

After that I decided to run over to Chik Fil a for breakfast, since its fairly close to my allergist. I've never seen it to empty at CFA! I am addicted to their frozen coffee. It is soooo good!!

I went back home and got myself together for the day, and my friend Jade dropped off these goodies for me! She made them herself! So crafty!!! This unexpected surprise and the sweet note made me cry!

Weds afternoon found me first at my Allergists office (visit 2 of 3 for the week) for my twice a year allergy check up.
After that I ran across the river to my chiro for a quick readjustment and then scootched back home to teach!
I decided I felt like being cozy so I ditched the contacts for my most obnoxious glasses, and changed into leggings from my jeans.

And stretched out on the couch to teach!!

Nothing super exciting or picture worthy happened the rest of the week. Thursday I was back at the allegists office for shot # 2 of 3.

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
