Whats up my peeps?!?! Welcome to another weekly wrap up!

This weeks theme is cold and snow. Sunday was in the negatives over night and barely got up into single digits during the day. Needless to say I barely left my house all week and seeing as next weeks forecast is the same, I'll be bundled up under my blanket.

Despite it being crazy cold outside Sunday was an awesome day because we got to have a livestream of our actual church campus!!!!!! Its been way too long since I have heard our worship team. This was so good for my soul.
Monday brought more lovely weather and the teens countdown to my birthday!!
Tuesday my Mom came to town and surprised me by having my sign finished!! When we took it down and I painted my living room I wanted something else on the sign and asked her if she could write the lyrics to one of my favorite worship songs on it.
It is SO special having this sign in her handwriting!!!!!

Wednesday I was PUMPED to wear the new shirt I made!!!

I mean, come on!!!!!!

In reality this is what the shirt looked like not on camera. Because genius me decided to craft before having coffee weds am, and forgot that you have to use the reverse image when you are doing an iron on for a shirt. But on the bright side you could read my shirt fine when I was on camera, so there's that!! Hahahah
It snowed, again, its pretty much snowed everyday this week. But weds we got more snow and it was time to use my snowblower again. I had a struggling time with the wind blowing the snow back on me and my cords that kept tangling up and causing me issues when I was trying to do my neighbors sidewalk. By the time I was done I was soaking wet head to toe. Just in time to do Wednesday night prayer live on Facebook!
Friday I was up bright and early... to wait on my Walmart grocery order. After 2 hours of waiting I decided I might as well go run the errands I had, which included getting gas with the rest of Lafayette.

I needed some rain boots for my snow removal and had a coupon at Ollie's so I ran inside and found a pair and after a few minutes of trying to walk thru the aisles and seeing people wish masks under their noses i.was.done. I paid and got out of the store! Why is it SO hard for people in Indiana to wear a dang mask properly??!!!

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
