Christmas with Snugglemuffin!

While I might not have taken a lot of pictures on Christmas day, once Snugglemuffin showed up in the days following, you'd better believe that Auntie almost wore out her camera! He arrived and after reading some books and playing with some toys he was READY for Grandpa to get home from work. He decided he would sit in Grandpa's computer chair with Eeyore and Baby Cow and wait to Surprise him.  Grandpa had a few hours of work left at that point :) After about 5 minutes of sitting in his chair B was more than ready for him to come home. So in order to distract him, we sat in the recliner and I got out my tablet and we listened (Watched- if you ask B) to some Christmas music on Pandora! So proud of my boy, his favorite station was Bing Crosby! Everytime Bing would come on he would nod his head and say "Yes. I think this is a good song" that's my boy!!!!  Snuggling and listening to music. He was transfixed watching the screen of my tablet. Not sure ...

Happy Birthday Liz!!!!!

Today Is a very special day! On this day 27 years ago, my wonderful sister in law was born!!! I am so thankful that she is here and married to my brother! They make a wonderful couple! Growing up it had always been me and my brother and he really didn't date much, so I was a little worried about what it would be like to have a sister in law. My brother became one of my best friends after I grew up and went away to college and I was alittle worried that would change. It has changed. But it has changed 100% for the better. Because now not only is my brother a best friend but my sister in law is as well! In fact sometimes I tell Kev that I love her more than him! Liz completely dove into our family and has loved us as much as she has loved Kev, which is TONS!! She knows us and loves us anyway! She knows each and everyone of our likes and dislikes, and I swear she is the best gift giver that I have ever met! She puts alot of thought into everything she does and it shows an amazing am...

Flashback Friday!

Baby Cherry and Big Brother Kevin circa 1982 (yes I realize its Monday but blogger ate my Friday post!)

Blast from the Past!!

So I was cleaning out the pictures on my computer and ran across this gem! I love it!! This was taken the day of my Brother's wedding to Liz! My Mom is beside me and Chantelle, the MOH is on the other side with her hubby Denny. That day was just full of laughter and love. It still ranks up there as one of my favorite days EVER. And I love that this picture captures some of that.

So I like to laugh...

I was looking at old pictures the other night and found these from my Brother's Wedding almost 3 years ago! I don't think I had this blog then, so you never saw them! They made me smile though, it was such a good time and that was clearly reflected in me laughing my bottom off in these pics! Rehersal dinner, Chantelle and I are sporting our matching Bridesmaid hoodies. I still have mine and wear it to this day! The dinner was so much fun, totally informal and we all told stories about Kev and Liz growing up and together. I want to do that when I get married, although I have a feeling I might be getting paid back for the stories I told!!

Mothers Day Weekend!!

I spent a wonderful Mothers Day weekend at home on the farm with my parents, bro and sil!! Sadly, I didn't sleep well, even with my saturday nap, but it was still a great time!! Here are my parents, Dad has progressively shrunk over the 33 years of their marriage. Now Mom is taller than him when she wears heels, as she was this morning to church. So she is trying to shrink down and be short. She'll kill me if she sees this pic on my blog but i love the expression on her face and her laughing!! Here are my Mom's Children! Kev, Mom, Me and my SIL Liz! Or as I like to call it, tallest to shortest. Again, Mom had on heels or I would have been standing next to Kev! (good thing I wasn't, he pinches!!) Here I am with my Mom. I love her SO SO MUCH!! As a Mothers Day present every year, Well since Kev got a wife, who makes him cook, he he he, us kids make lunch for Mom and Grams. Kev's job was grilling. Pictured is the piece of meat he made especially for me. He's so ...
