Sadly Monday morning came before we were ready for it and it was time to head to the airport and go back home to Indiana. But before I left I made sure to get a picture with The Lady. This is a famous picture that Caca did while at PCC. She was like our 9'th roommate! It was so cool to see her framed and hanging up at Caca's house!! And yes I look like I have pj's on in this pic. I do not. that was my travelling outfit. Clearly I did not care! Us headed for the airport. Clearly I did not bother with hardly any makeup that day either!! I love plane pics!! This fall my Women's Bible study that meets on Weds nights is doing the first 8 chapters of Having a Mary Spirit by Joanna Weaver. Last semester you'll remember we did the Prequel to that called Having a Mary Heart in a Martha world. I blogged each week about what I had learned during the study and I want to do that again, but with a change. This fall I want to be real and sincere and talk specifically about what God is teaching me and what he is trying to do in my life. This won't always be pretty, ok well its not really going to be pretty at all because my sinful heart isn't pretty but with God's help he will change me! I want to start off with an illustration that God gave me today in my life. Happy Pink Weds!!! I am sporting a new pink sweater today from Old Navy. I almost FROZE to death in my office yesterday so I came prepared today. Of course the temps rose to 79 degrees but minor detail. I still sat with my heater on all day long which did not help the sleepiness issues I was having!

Oh my goodness I think Saturday was my favorite day out of all of my vacation! Caca made us cheese empanadas for Brunch, and then we watched the movie Julie & Julia. Now y'all know I can't cook to save my life. So a movie about cooking I was like oh boy. I was pleasantly surprised! I LOVED IT!! It was such a good movie! I would definately watch it again!! Do you know that verse about Pride cometh before the fall? I really should commit that to memory because I seem to have an issue. Thursday night as we were driving to the airport Dr Avery was making fun of me for my big purse and how full it was. I informed him that I was a girl and had alot of stuff I needed, plus I was only taking a carry on so I had to throw last minute things into my purse and to hush and just drive. That conversation came back to haunt me a little while later. I boarded my first flight and got comfortable in the window seat alongside a businessman. I shoved my stuffed carry on under the seat in front of me and was delighted when I was able to put my feet on it as I sat. I was really quite comfortable. Friday morning I made it out of bed before noon which was quite a feat seeing as we had not went to bed untill 3 am! Caca made Chilean Pancakes for us, aka Crepes. I did not know what I was missing. Now I do. Now I want MORE CREPES!! My artistic shot. And don't worry I had three of these bad boys. Caca and her Pink Weds milk! She asked me to make her strawberry milk. I asked how many squirts. She had me squirt and told me three. This is after she drank half and added more milk. It wasn't too tasty. But it WAS hilarious! After brunch she got to work on the cake she had to make for a Birthday Party Saturday morning. Caca is a MASTER at making cakes! She amazes me! I was BEYOND ready to leave for my Vacation to North Carolina On Thursday! To my credit I actually was fairly calm at work and actually worked until about 3 pm, the hour before I left, then I started bouncing in my chair and couldn't stay focused!! I finally got off work at 4 pm and ran home to try and squeeze the last few things into my bag before Dr Avery picked me up. He was my chauffeur for the day and did an excellent job! (Minus the whole making me carry my bag downstairs. but whatever!) Anyways, if you know me at all then you know I take truck pictures pretty much anytime I am in a vehicle with someone else. Dr Avery to his credit put up with that even though he gave me some crazy eyes. Gotta work on that! He looks a bit more normal here but I'm struggling. Such is life!
