Once again, all my pictures are backwards! Soooooo, Here we go from the end of the week to the beginning!! My beloved Chiropractor was finally back in the office after being closed for the Christmas Covid Season. I went to a backup chiro but no one gets my neck as good as Dr Beth! So I was PUMPED to be back, and so were all my bones! By far the best part of the week were #BernieMemes2021 Who knew all the country needed to bring us all together were Bernie Memes?! Here are some of my fave! Not a Bernie Meme but a hilarious one! Y'all. I was doing scheduling for Guest Services and saw our sermon on VALENTINES DAY WEEKEND is about Marriage and Romance. Dandy. Juuuust dandy. I can't. I just can't! If this song isn't stuck in your head now, you are lucky! This is 1000000% my parents at my house. #NeverLetGo Thursday I was living life on the wild side. Laying on a different side of my couch, which I watched the Governor's Weekly Covid Press Conference. It was moved to Th...

Welcome to another weekly wrap up! Once again, for some reason my pictures loaded completely out of order, but we are just going to roll with it! So here's what I was up to on Week 2! Monday was my first day back to work in 2021! It felt weird, but good to put makeup on, real clothes, and actually do my hair! Weds was a busy day, I had a Zoom call for a new role I'm taking on at church. I apparently really wanted to accessorize that day.. See above two necklaces and below A Love hairpin! Also, can we just discuss false lashes? I'm not sure what took me so long to try them out, but not that I have I. LOVE.THEM!!!!! I have sparse lashes, which are all turning white thanks to my old age. Falsies are my new favorite makeup addition! And way easier to put on than I thought! That Weds it was my week to do Wednesday Night Prayer AKA WNP on my church campuses FB group. I am loving the cart I got for Christmas! It works SO well with my online teaching.  Kicked off the week watching...

I'm BAAAAACKKKKKKK!!! I decided that I really missed blogging and doing my weekly recaps, so it's my goal in 2021 to start that back up and continue throughout the entire year. So here's a glimpse at the first week of 2021! Somehow these pictures uploaded all out of order and well, we all know I'm not going to fix them! I have been on my 2 week Christmas Vacation and have loved being able to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted to! My life is so scheduled, and I really look forward to the times I don't have to watch a clock! One thing I worked on over break was decorating since the Christmas stuff was down. I printed off a ton of pics and had fun framing them and figuring out where to put stuff. I finally framed my favorite picture of my Grandma and B. Mom made me this shelf (with more to come!) for behind my teaching chair and I decided to break out the Valentine's day decor a little early. I also finally painted my giant H white, and hung it back up! It wa...

The stomach infection of death, and why you should check every single ingredient of what you put into your body when you're on Flagyl

s Ok friends, bare with me as I explain what has been going on with my body the past month +. I will try to be as brief as possible, I debated whether to share the whole bits and pieces of it all, but what caused my er trip this past Monday was 100% preventable. No one educated me, so if I can share this and save one person from going through the pain and sickness I've went through, it's worth it. Here we go! Monday Sept 28, 2020 : Diagnosed with a double ear infection by my ENT. Fluids from ear are making me sick to my stomach. He prescribes a new to me antibiotic instead of my tried and true one. Stupidly, I let him. The antibiotic immediately starts bothering my stomach * (This is important to the entire story) and I don't feel like it's competing getting rid of my infection. I'm off work sick the entire week with no clue that I would STILL be off work sick over a month later. Monday October 5, 2020: Another mostly sleepless night. I feel worse than the week be...

Book Review: Don't Keep Silent by Elizabeth Goddard

Don't keep Silent is the third and final book in the Uncommon Justice series by Elizabeth Goddard. If you have not read any of her books you need to immediately hop on amazon or your library's website and start with the first book in this series! Ms. Goddard very quickly became one of my must read for Christian Romantic Suspense books. (My fave genre!!) She writes real life characters who have real life issues and struggles, ok well maybe not everyone in life is getting shot at or having attempts on their life but you know what I mean! I found this book to be a little bit harder to get into than her other two books that I have read. I should have backed up and re read book 2 again to refresh my memory, I think that would have helped. Once I got Into the flow I read the rest of the book quickly! My only dislike if you could even call it that, is that I felt like the final chapter or the wrap up of you will, of the mystery/story needed to be longer. After an entire book of the my...

2020: Well that took a turn...

When we last left off on February 3, 2020, I was all excited to be back blogging this year, and was looking forward to my Birthday month. Well, just days after I wrote that post, on Feb 9 I began to have some weird symptoms start in my body. Feb 9, I went to church and served since it was the second sunday of the month. That afternoon I was home and doing my normal Sunday cleaning and noticed after running the sweeper I was a little out of breath and wheezing. Which is not normal for me. I brushed it off and went about my day. Monday, Feb 10 I woke up and felt like I was in the beginning stages of a cold. Lots of throat clearing and a little bit of dry coughing. I taught that day and then that evening I was super pumped to go to a Relationship Panel at church for all the single people. I went and met some new people and had a great time learning from everyone on the panel. I still felt like maybe I was getting a cold, but really didn't feel bad. Tuesday was the same. I didn...

What's Up Wednesday- I'm BAAACCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!

Hello Blog World!! Its been a minute since I have posted on the ol' blogaroo. (Minus a few book reviews) Ok it's been a year. Whatevs. After blogging every week in 2018, I decided to take a break and only do it when I felt like it in 2019. Which turned out to be not very much! HA! I don't know how much I will blog this year but I do miss having a place to write down and keep all of my memories, so we will see what happens! I thought I would jump back into blogging with a good ol' What's Up Wednesday to get us caught up on life!  So here we go! What I'm eating this week: I'm starting to write this on a Tuesday, Monday I made mini Naan Pizzas and then made a big batch of pancakes. So this morning I had a pancake for breakfast and it was delish! Tonight I will be picking up Buck Creek Pizza since I will be in the area and I am really looking forward to it! What I'm reminiscing about: Nothing at the moment! ...
