In the predawn hours of New Years Day 2004 I was faced with a choice. After spending New Year's Eve at a local bar with a friend, I came home and through the events that transpired, I saw clearly a vision of my future. What would happen to me if I continued on the path I had been taking. I had a choice to make and within a split second I knew what my answer was going to be. I grew up in a Christian home. I was saved at an early age. When I was 13/14 on my Birthday Sunday, Pastor Martin preached a sermon about those of us who had been saved at an early age and knowing if your salvation was real or not. I spent the rest of the day and my party tormented because I could not remember what was in my heart when I was younger. The Emster and I met up today at Chik Fil A for our monthly Ladies who Lunch!!! As you can see she is as beautiful as ever, Pregnancy definately agrees with her! You will notice there is no belly shot here. I did get one, it wasn't very good but I got it dangit! however I value my life enough not to post it on my blog. (right now that is) Stay tuned for June's edition because then we'll know what the bump is!!
Yes Coral, this is for you! :) We went to chik fil a today because we got a free #1 meal for being listeners of our local country station. Us and about half of the population of L-town. When I got there I had to park next door at Logans and the line was out the door. Em had texted me as I left work that she was in line and I could cut with her, and to come in the front door and bypass the line. So I did. Only to see her walking away from the front. yes, she had just ordered! I was like SERIOUSLY???! So she said just slide in there and cut. So I did. I know. I have no shame. IN my defense if I had stood in line I would have been there past the hour I have for lunch. yes I know thats a bad defense. I dont't care. So I slid into line stealthily. And they called next. No one moved. they called next again. Still no one, so I walked myself up to the counter and got my free meal!! After I sat down Em said did you hear what those people behind you said? Oops. no. 0=-)
