This past week can be described as I started off the week exhausted and ended it the same way! The first week of school is rough!! Monday was the first day of fall schedule, but only two students came at their new times, thanks to meet the teacher night, so it was a bit kabobbled.  During one of my lessons my student looks at me and says... "Miss Charity? Can I just say, your eyebrows are ON FLEEK today!!" I was just glad a different student had explained to me what On Fleek meant, not that long ago. HA!  In accordance of the Summer of Trying New Things, Ema and I decided to try a new to us Restaurant that we had never been to. Triple XXX Family Restaurant. That's right. We've both lived here for YEARS and have never been to Triple XXX! And being the smart people we are, we went the week before Purdue started. I have to say though, the Bert Burger was mighty tasty!! Whoo Hooo!! We are Half Way Through 2017! And even thought some posts (cough, like this one) have been a few days late, I have successfully kept with my weekly wrap ups! I'm so proud of myself! I don't really make new years resolutions but I knew this year I wanted to blog more, mainly so I could look back on my life and happenings. And I'm so glad I have been able to do that! So without further ado, here's last week!  Monday was freakishly cool for June. We're talking a high of 70 and lows in the 40's. #Brrrrrrr I wore a new outfit I had just scored from Salvation army. Jeans and a 3/4 length shirt. I thought I wouldn't be wearing that until fall!!  I also had white nails. I bought a white nail polish to do red, white and blue for the 4'th and then wondered what it would look like to do white the week before. And I liked it!  Wednesday morning I had some free time and decided to run errands and grocery shop before teaching...

Soooooo I realized with everything going on, there were several events/things that I meant to blog about but never got around to! So this will be a hodgepodge of stuff! One of the items on my Summer To Do list was to have Lunch at McCords with Emboz and crew. I had never been there before and was so excited to try it out! Never mind that I picked the absolute worst time to go, the street in front of McCords was going thru massive renovation, we literally had to walk across a man made MOAT to get into the place. Do I know how to pick places or what??!! Despite all that we still had a great time! Madi very much enjoyed wearing my massive sunglasses on her tiny head.  Better late than never! Emboz and Madi and I finally had a much awaited Ladies who Lunch at O'Charleys a few weeks ago. I had been CRAVING and DYING for their chicken fingers. So, so SO YUMMY. And oh yeah, I missed Em and Madi as well :) Since Em's birthday was earlier in January we celebrated!  Me and the Kitty..  Oh wait, there's a Madi! I can't believe how big she is getting! Still looks exactly like her Momma and big Sister! #stronggenes  We count it as a win when 2 out of 3 of us are looking good.
