Mid Week Confessions

Tim Tebow at the Met Ball is my new computer background and I am not ashamed to say it!

I spend an inordinate amount of time on Craigslist every night trying to find a decent priced Queen Sized bed.

My church is now following me on Twitter and after I saw that I told Kim that I guess that meant I had to stop complaining so much on Twitter and behave myself.

I drop food on myself. I'm pretty sure this has been well documented on here. Last week we took MWS out for a surprise thank you lunch and I totally dropped a fork full of food on my chest. #canttakemeanywhere

I fell prey to the colored denim trend and bought myself a pair of pink capri's. The Jury is still out on whether they are cute on me or not. I'm 30 and not a celebrity so the odds are not so much in my favor!

I talk to myself in the grocery store. People most likely think I'm nuts, and possibly I am, but I talk to myself while I shop and look at products. I really need to stop but it's so hard! I think I do it to remind myself of what I need since every time I make a grocery list I manage to leave it 1. at home on my coffee table or 2. on my desk at work.

I love searching Craigslist all the time- usually for things I don't need or already have!

Visiting from E, Myself, and I. I don't just drop food on myself, I also drop it on my six week old son as I eat while holding him. :)

And I talk to myself frequently. I say it's the sign of an intelligent person. :)

Tim Tebow is my main man. I have always been a Denver fan and when he went to them I was unsure, but then I warmed up and loved him. Sad he isn't with us anymore but I will now be a Jets fan too!!

I wanted to buy colored denim. i'm 23 and I think they don't work for me. Let me know how that goes!!

newest follower :) Love your blog title. It goes with mine! :)

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend. Then I had some cancellations and decided to start. I got the Piano room ...

Blue Monday!

Today's Festive Blue Monday outfit! I wore my tried and true trouser jeans, a short sleeved beaded top I got on clearance at Macy's of all places for 6 bucks!! And my awesome new jeweled flats! Sooo comfy and cute! Since it was in the 60's today I was able to get away with this warmer weather outfit! Beading on the top, I love it! Shoes, so ugly they are cute!!

Book Review: The Last Dance you Saved by LJ Evans

Buckle Up Buttercup, because Sadie Hatley is finally getting her story!!!! And it did not disappoint at all! The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it ended. I could have kept reading for 1000 more pages.  L.J. Evans is a Masterclass in how to write Romantic Suspense (that's not so scary you can't sleep at night) with witty banter, heroines who kick butt (figuratively and literally). Her books are full of real people with real problems. And I think that's one of the things I appreciate the most about her writing. Yes, her books are an escape for me, but they also show that whatever you're going through in life, everyone else is also going through something.  In the case of Sadie and Rafe alot of those issues they contained to themselves and kept the hurt and pain inside of them, in order to be strong for others and what they thought they needed to be. But L.J. shows us that not only is it okay to let people in, but the beauty and redemption that come...
