We start off this week's recap with a picture from the weekend that I forgot to add in! on the Friday of Labor Day weekend Emboz and I met up and went to the movies! I think this was the first time we have ever seen a movie in a theatre together in our 900 million year long friendship. We saw Crazy Rich Asians and I was so cute! Definitely a timeless rom-com! I think it's funny how we look like we are dressed for two different seasons. I'm full on Summer and Em is Winter.
I had a nice relaxing Labor Day weekend, spent mostly on my couch with Brenda Lee Johnson on the Closer. Thank you Amazon Prime for putting it back on! I love that show!! I was fighting a weather headache so all my plans of doing things and cleaning and organizing. none of them happen. Oh well!
Wednesday it was back to Adulting and teaching for me!
Thursday my new selfie stick came in the mail so of course i had to try it out. And I love it. I wish I had had it for my trip to visit Audra a few weeks ago!
Sunday it was downright cold outside. So I wore a cardigan, jeggings and closed toe shoes to serve at church and I was still cold. It was a great morning at church though!!
I finished up at church, ran home to clean and make lunch. Changed into a warmer shirt, and then headed back to church for Active Shooter training. It was very informative, and I'm so glad I went. I hope we have more training, because our world is ugly. Jen and I sat and shivered together during training. It was even colder in the kids classroom we were in!
No fears, it will be back up in the 80's this week. Indiana weather.........
