It's me, Charity

This week was rather lackluster, because I came down with a sickness on Monday and was down for the count Monday and Tuesday. I was super annoyed, because I had not taken a sick day since May and I was really trying to make it to 2019 without that happening! Boo!  My new coffee maker came in the mail, and it is so cute! It's like a miniature coffee maker, only makes 4 cups. It's adorable.  My nephew's 4'th Birthday present came as well. And I was a little concerned at the size of the box. Thankfully it wasn't as large as it appeared, but still a decent size!  Wednesday I rejoined life after being sick and ran out to get some free stix from Hotbox pizza and look what I saw!!!! A New DD is coming much closer to my house!! OH I was SO EXCITED!!!!!!  That afternoon I was working on getting all of my Christmas tubs brought inside from the shed, so I could decorate on the weekend.  Despite the weather here staying in the 80's and 90's, I finally finished putting all of my fall decorations off.  I figured if I waited for it to be cold, it would be time for Christmas decorations! These three little pumpkins are a new addition to outside. I scored them at a garage sale this summer!  Also found at a garage sale this summer, my new burlap fall wreath!  Monday was not a great day. I was ready for it to be over.  Trying to shake off my crummy monday with a face mask that evening. I bought it but didn't realize it was teal. I basically matched my entire house. hahah  Tuesday it was time for my visit to my favorite nursing home to play for the residents! This month I was entertainment with my alzheimer's friends and we had a great time, per the usual.  Last Monday I woke up earlier than my alarm clock, and before I hopped in the shower i just happened to open the blinds to the backyard and what did i see?  TWO Raccoons.  The mystery of what has been getting into my trash bins is now solved. Sigh..  That afternoon by some sort of a miracle I was done teaching by 2:30. I had not seen Jboz in what seemed like forever and was in desperate need of girl talk and some Kohen cuddle time. This picture cracks me up, he looks like Elvis with that little lip curl!!  It took a LOT of attempts to get this picture. Things like kitchen lights are super fascinating and hard to tear your eyes away from. Also, he looks started and scared, but he isn't.  Last week started off with a day off on Memorial Day. I took zero pictures and stayed inside in the a/c. It was HOT. I read and relaxed and thought about the people who were missing those they had lost. I'm always extremely thankful for our soldiers sacrifice to keep us safe. We really do live in the best country in the world! Tuesday I taught the majority of my Monday students, and again managed not to take a single picture. I was very confused all day long and thought it was wednesday.  I snapped this picture Weds during a lesson. Does anyone see anything odd about her music?! At one of our garage sales Mom found this large C, and scooped it up. She painted it white and I hung it above the very large H she had made me some time ago. Now I just need a tiny B to add to it! I made the assistant and a husband of a patient cry with one of my songs, I don't think that has ever happened before! Tuesday night I went to bed a little later than planned, thanks to a good book. I was laying in bed and about to sleep when I heard a noise. I ignored it, and then I heard two more noises. Sigh. I knew I had to investigate. So I put on my closed toed shoes that were thankfully in my bedroom! Pulled my hair back in a pony tail, and put my glasses on. I creeped into the hallway and stood there for a minute trying to decide where to look first. Something told me to look in my furnace room, so...
