It's me, Charity

Thursday night we headed out to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate Apes as she got ready to start her new life in Illinois!! Here she is with Holly perusing their menu's! Audra and I! Dates!!!!! Doesn't she look angelic here? I would just like to point out the glass of COKE in front of me. It is NOT a good idea to have three of those from 6-8 pm when you want to sleep at all that night. I got 2 1/2 hours of sleep. Needless to say my friday night is being spent on my couch. I am exhausted! So we had several surprises for Apes that we have been plotting and scheming for over a month now. She has been excited to decorate her new place and really wanted a pretty and inviting bathroom that she could get ready in and be relaxed and enjoy herself. So we took it upon ourselves to get her some decorations! Sheryl was the great shopper and got some beautiful things! We knew what we wanted to get but weren't sure how to surprise her! Sheryl gave the vase of flowers to our server before Apes...

So today I got the privilege of going back to the ENT for a scope! I know, the thrills and excitement of my life are never ending!! It's been three weeks and one day since my surgery! However it feels like a long time, even though I still remember the pain, and am still in some pain, but tylenol takes care of that! So I show up at the ENT at 12 ( missing Apes goodbye lunch with co workers at Logans :( ) And I find out he is running late. An hour later I find out that he is running an hour late. But knowing that getting upset and rude about it wouldn't help anything and would make those poor people's day worse, I decided I was going to be super nice and try to make up for all of the other people that were rude to them!! It must have worked because all three of them thanked me at different times for being so nice to them and patient and having a good attitude! YAYS! That made me feel good that I had in some small way, made their day a little better. So the nurse took me back ...

Weds we had our monthly Ladies who lunch and this month we got to have a special addition! Jboz!!! Otherwise known as Auntie Beans to Bethy and Madi!! Poor Madi was really sleepy today so the smiles were few and far between but she really liked my Wildberry Frozen Lemonade! I tried the stuffed provolone meatball fettuccine.. ehh... meatballs didn't have much cheese and were spicer than I liked. I was disappointed. One of the rare smiles from Sleepy Madi today! Look at her adorable pink skirt! She is a faithful Pink Weds Follower! Not so much for Bethy who is still adament that it's Blue Weds. Not happenin kid. Jboz!!!! She had Pink on as well! Pink Scrubs! The Pink Weds Brigade!! Madi was not so much interested in posing today. I have like 4 pictures of us doing this and her head is in a different direction in every picture, and yet never looking at the camera! Untill you stick it up in her sad little face that is! Auntie Beans lovin on Madi. Look at Madi's painted piggies!...

Emboz took this super cute picture of Madi celebrating Pink Weds the day I had surgery and I didn't see it until now! I thought it was fitting since I will be having lunch with this little cutie today! !

I would like to preface this blog post with the fact that Yes, I do in fact know that I look hot, sweaty and uncomfortable in these pictures. We have hit the two shower a day time of the summer with temps over 100 for what seems like an eternity. So even thought my office is AC you're still gross by the end of the day. Now that we have that out of the way! My new hair do! Bryna cut it last week and I haven't really had a chance to get any decent pics. Hoping to get some better ones Thursday at our goodbye parrtay for Apes. I really do LOVE my hair cut though! Bryna cut it shorter than it has been in a long time but it's sooo nice! Especially given the aforementioned 100 degree temperatures. My one co worker L, was a tad concerned when she looked at the back of my hair "SHE CUT OFF YOUR CURLS!!!' No fears, they will grow back. Audra and I had a lunch date and I was so excited to get to ride in her Sweet New Ride!! I took this outside in our parking lot and it was so sunny that it looks weird! I think it kind of looks like an instagram that everyone's going nuts for. Since the first pics turned out weird we had a second photo shoot at Chili's after we picked up the food! Here is Audra with her admittedly "goofy" looking little Kia! She looks so adorable in it! I have to say goofy as it is, it was a nice ride! Lots of leg room, which is rare for me, and a very smooth drive! I liked it! An artsy COOL shot of Audra and her white shades and pimp ride. You go Audra, you go! HIIIIIIII!!!! Oh yes was I excited to ride in the Sweet Ride! Or was I really excited about the Queso I was getting ready to inhale? hmmm... BTW did you notice it is PINK WEDS!!! YEAH!!

This 4'th of July was the BEST EVER!! I got to go spend three days with my Snugglemuffin!! We became Backseat Buddies, as I rode with him in the back. He looked at me a little weird the first time, but then every other time when he was put in he would automatically look over at my chair to see if I was there! It was sooo sweet! I just love him so much!! He also loved holding my hand. Or rather my index finger. I'd always have my hand over on his car seat and everytime we went somewhere he would hold my hand! Oh it just melted my heart completely!! I think this is my new fave picture of us!! He's not trained to smile at the camera yet, or do self portraits, ha you should see those outtakes! But we're working on it! He is just so sweet! The shirt he is wearing here I bought for him before I knew he was a little boy!
