Whew! Look at me all caught up! Just in time for the New Year! When we last left off,  I was at the Farm with my nephews. Christmas Eve I got up bright and early again to get ready to head back to town to serve at my churches Christmas Eve Services. I was in charge of leading guest services for both services. I also had to run to both of our local police depts before church to drop off the cards my students had decorated for them and the treats i had made. That is possibly my favorite Christmas eve tradition! I love surprising them and how excited they get. Doing something nice for someone, when they don't expect it, is just really fun!  I made my deliveries and then arrived early at church. I waited by the fireplace chatting and got congratulated on my recent engagement by Pastor Dave. Except i'm not engaged. Or even dating. HA! We were both confused, but it became the joke of the evening. Bless his heart, he was excited for me. I would be too! HA HA HA! ...

Monday started off with fan life. With having a wall unit in my kitchen while my central air is broken, I have to have multiple fans in the house to circulate the air.  Sporting one of my new garage sale shirts.   Wednesday I was up super early to go to my ENT for my one month check up for my right ear tube removal. Several days before that my left ear felt weird, and then I heard strange noises, that were pretty close to the noises that happened when my other ear tube came out. Sure enough, the left ear tube was half out. but it was STUCK. and sweet mercy the pain when he pulled it out! He attempted it over 5 times and I was close to crying. Sweet mercy IT HURT.  So much at the end he asked me if I was going to be Ok. HA! I lived, but barely. Thankfully it was just a little sore that day and by the following day I had no pain, and so far no infection! YAY!  By Thursday I was tired. Story of my life! Comfy clothes for the win, capri leggings...

Last week Monday started off with the first day of Summer Schedule!!! I was very excited to start being done teaching at a decent time each day! Monday was a bit crazy because I had 9 students that day, but I lived through it and was done before 8 pm so i call that a win!!  I never showed pictures of my finished organized little space, so i snapped one on monday. I love how this turned out!  Wednesday i was feeling good. Loving my schedule and not teaching 5 students back to back at the end of the day. Life was good. Until I got done with my last student and noticed it was warmer than normal in my house. I thought maybe i had bumped the temp up the day before ( it saves it when you change it) my ac was running so i started making dinner and putzing around. until i noticed it was getting really warm inside. check my thermostat, and it's now 77. uh oh. i open my back door, while my heart is sinking into my stomach, and am met with the sound of silence. not. good...

Mother's Day weekend when I was home at the farm my Dad surprised my Mom, SIL and myself!! with roses! I twas so sweet and thoughtful of him to get me a rose to make me feel special!  We went from cold weather straight into the heat of summer. My hair was reeeaaallllyy curly, random little curls popping up everywhere.   Wednesday morning I got up early to go to Urgent Care as I had finished my antibiotics and I could tell that my ear infection wasn't gone. So I went to UC and the DR confirmed that and told me he thought my ear tube was coming out. AHA!   He gave me more antibiotics and I decided to try and call my ENT and see if he was in and could get me in anytime soon. Shockingly they were able to get me in Thursday morning!!  I went there straight up terrified. Getting Adult ear tubes was painful so I was anticipating it not feeling great coming out. Y'all I even brought a tiny stuffed animal so i could have a death grip on it to hel...

Monday, all I remember is that my Mom came to town and graciously mowed my lawn because #Allergic, and I made her Spaghetti Bake casserole for the first time and it was yummy!  Tuesday was an exciting mail day when not one, but two pairs of shoes arrived from Sears!  These sneaker ballet flats are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. And I have now purchased a white pair because they are just SO COMFY.  Wednesday I was caffeinated and ready to take on my 8 students of the day!  I was also sporting the most comfy shoes ever and my lane bryant salvation army jeans! WHOO HOO  After teaching 8 students. The work is not done, just because students are gone. I worked on my computer for a few hours until finally calling it a day.  Thursday I was up bright and early to do alll the things. I had a much needed haircut- thin and shape and my hair is so much lighter now! After my cut I hurried home to straighten it, ...
