Well! What a week last week was! I failed at taking pictures except for really one day, but you will understand why soon! And I got the most important day, so you know.. priorities.. Tuesday I was up and awake early, even before my alarm went off.  It was my day to head to a local nursing home that I play at, but even more exciting than that, it was the day my bestie was going to have her baby! I knew what time she had to be at the hospital, but other than that I really don't have much knowledge of c sections, or how long they take. None of my other friends have had that kind of birth, so I'm fairly well acquainted with the other process, not so much the c section process. I assumed it would be speedier. I. was. wrong. Y'all.. When we had passed the 4 hour mark I got NERVOUS. My hands were shaking, and I was just starting to have all the fears. I sat in front of my laptop and kept hitting refresh on her husband's fb page ever...

 Monday, all I remember is that my Mom came to town and graciously mowed my lawn because #Allergic, and I made her Spaghetti Bake casserole for the first time and it was yummy!  Tuesday was an exciting mail day when not one, but two pairs of shoes arrived from Sears!  These sneaker ballet flats are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. And I have now purchased a white pair because they are just SO COMFY.  Wednesday I was caffeinated and ready to take on my 8 students of the day!  I was also sporting the most comfy shoes ever and my lane bryant salvation army jeans! WHOO HOO  After teaching 8 students. The work is not done, just because students are gone. I worked on my computer for a few hours until finally calling it a day.  Thursday I was up bright and early to do alll the things. I had a much needed haircut- thin and shape and my hair is so much lighter now! After my cut I hurried home to straighten it, ...

This is what happens when you're a week late on your week recaps. You have ONE picture from week 5 and can't remember anything else from it! Whoopsie. I guess we can sum up week 5 with, I came, I saw, I taught, Barbie and Ken got married. One of my students was learning to wedding processional and recessional, so I decided that  we should make it extra special, and she brought her dolls in and we had a wedding in her piano lesson. It was cute and hilarious. The Alter was my side table. Ken wasn't so great on standing up so he is posed on my water. HA!  OH, and I finally got a new watch! It looks basically identical to my old watch and that makes me very happy. I'm loving being able to look down and see the time without having to press a button and read the dots. Five years ago this October I spent the evening in the maternity ward of St E. watching Greys Anatomy with Jboz as we waited for Emboz to push out Madi so we could meet her and go to bed! #workinggirls Ever since that night Jboz and her family have become some of my favorite people on earth! Someone asked me at her Baby Shower if I was related to her, I said, Well, basically. ha!  They couldn't get rid of me if they tried :) Happy to do life with these peeps! Now it is Jboz's turn to have a baby and we are anxiously awaiting another fun night at St. E.  We're coming for your Sharon!!  #tbt to when Audra and I had our last Dinner for Three! She is due with Baby B THIS WEEKEND PEOPLE!!! AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! So we made sure that we planned on last dinner with just the three of us before we added a new edition to our dinner date nights!  Cubbie does such a good job of posing for the camera! the impressive thing is that my camera was on my bookshelf with the self timer, and Audra put a treat right by the camera and voila!! He is trained I tell ya!  Will we be as excellent at self portraits when there is a little wee one involved? Time will tell!
