Book Review- Without Warning by Lynette Eason

Without Warning This book is book 2 in a new Series that Lynette  Eason is writing, called Elite Guardians. The cool thing about this book is that it is about a female bodyguard! Not something you read about, or even heard about often! I thought that was really cool! I have read some other books by Ms. Eason and she always writes with a mixture of romance and mystery/excitement. This is not a book you want to read late at night, unless you have the time to finish it!  (If you’re not a wimp like me, then by all means, go ahead :)) I like that her writing is really easy to follow. The conversations between characters are much like a conversation between two people in the real world. It’s just very easy to read and understand! This is random, but I loved that in the book when characters text, it had a part of the page that actually looked like a text block. Some writers just have texts throw in, in the regular writing, and I loved that she had it look more li...

Dinner with A&A/C&C- July Edition!

So a few weeks ago, (I'm getting old, I can't even remember when it was!!) I went over to Auds for our girls nite dinner! And somehow managed to get ZERO pictures of Cubbie James. But no worries, he was there and he got some lovin! We start this picture story with Addie looking slightly worried in our selfie.  That quickly changed. I just LOVE that little girl! She was allll about Miss Charity that night and we got in LOTS of snuggles. Which just filled my heart up! She is so sweet and FULL of personality! I can remember Audra being pregnant and us talking and wondering about what her future child would be like. I think neither of us imagined the essence that is Addie Jane. She is one of a kind and just delightful! I love this picture of us, but I also think it's funny because she looks so sweet and docile. Don't get me wrong, she is a sweet little love bug, but she has a spunky personality which I love!  Like how she purposely sucks her thumb and pulls at h...

Book Review: What Matters Most by Kellie Coates Gilbert

Whooo!! Get Excited! It's time for my very first book review! Now, I have never written a legit blog post in review of a book, so I am sure my first time won't be as stellar as others. But good news for me at least, I have signed up and requested several books to review so there are many more to follow! Thanks to Bekah over at Bekah's Bits , my fellow Indiana blogger, I found out you can sign up to revew books for free! Seeing that I love books and reading and free :) I was alll about that! My first book is from Revell, thanks for the copy Revell! "What Matters Most" is by Kellie Coates Gilbert, and it is part of her Texas Gold Series. These books are stand alone books, so you can pick up any one of them and read without needing to read one before another. I have actually read two of her books, "A Woman of Fortune" Which I LOVED, and "Where Rivers Part" which was also really interesting!  I had high hopes for "What Matte...

What's Up Wednesday- July!

I will spare you the "I can't believe July is already over" speech, but seriously!  I will say though that after the 4'th of July was over I got the summer is almost over feeling of doom. Working on my Fall Schedule and School Starting AUGUST 8'th really didn't help either! But I digress, on to the questions! As always linking up with Mix and Match Mama! What I'm eating this week: Well I'm starting this on Sunday, and tonight I had Grilled Pork Burgers for Dinner. I'll have left over on Monday, Tuesday will be Buck Creek Pizza! YAY! I LOVE their cheese pizza!! And the rest of the week I am sure will be either cold items or something grilled, it's hot yo! What I'm reminiscing about: Nothing really? What I'm loving: Payless Click List!! Listen, I love this so much I plan to devote an entire blog post to it! Basically you order your groceries online and they bring them out to your vehicle and load them for you! You o...

Life Lately

First off, Shout Out to Blogger for taking all of my pics and putting them completely out of order.I hate moving pics around on blogger, so you are stuck with it! Secondly, brace yourself for massive picture overload. Apparently I should blog Life Lately more regularly!  I got a new lipstick in my Boxycharm, that was way darker than my normal color. I'm trying to try new things this summer, so i wore it! Go me! It was one you definitely need a mirror to apply, but I liked it!  Earlier this week I finally went and got my eyes checked. It really wasn't that exciting, but I was glad that my new dr's office got me in and out in under an hour! And the best part was that the air puff machine was broken! SO NO AIR PUFF IN EYES! Man, I hate that thing!  I wandered upon a 90% off CVS sale this past weekend and made out like a bandit. I can't resist these cups, I drink a ton of water and always have a drink around me. 50 cents for a festive USA cup? Sol...

Fourth of July Fun with the Nephews! Part One

Grab a Drink, Several Snacks, Use the Restroom, and pack a change of clothes. This is going to be a LONG post. And it's only Part One! #BraceYourself What can I say, my nephews are just so doggone cute, and we had too much fun on the 4'th not to recap it fully! First off on the Family Fun, we hit up the Wolcott Festival! My brother and I grew up going to it every year of our childhood so I was excited to share it with my nephews. When We pulled into town I first wondered where all the people were. You used to have to park way down the road, sometimes by a field, this wasn't the case this time. So that was weird.  The second thing I wondered was where were all the booths? The lawn of the Wolcott house used to be filled to the brim with booths, selling things, and all kinds of stuff. not so much this time. There was the music stage as usual, and a petting zoo. I was shocked! We did find some booths later but not very many of them. And I was walking/hand holding wit...
