So every month I try to link up with Mix and Match Mama for the What's Up Wednesday. It's done the last Weds of every month. For some reason this month she did it a week earlier but here I am on the last Weds ready to go!! So let's do this!! What I'm Eating this week: Well Tuesday night was my Studio's Recital and it's a tradition to stop at Buck Creek Pizza and eat their AMAZING cheese pizza on the way home. Needless to say, I'm still eating it :) What I'm reminiscing about: I have been getting a little misty eyed seeing how much my students have grown, physically and in their piano skills, since last year's recital. They are growing up right before my eyes! and I'm not too sure how I feel about that! ha! What I'm loving: I'm loving the fact that Thanksgiving is over and it's officially The Christmas Season which means no one can say anything about my tree and decorations being up. Oh my goodness I was SO EXCITED to get this book to review! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Susan May Warren's Books! She is one of my must read authors. I thought this book was really good! I was a little concerned at first because it was about a rescue team, and helicopters and saving lives and I wasn't really sure how interesting I would find that. There were details about helicopters and rescuing but it wasn't overwhelming. Ms. Warren always writes very layered characters in her books. I love that they are never perfect people, and have different things going on in their lives. They don't always have a perfect personality and a squeaky clean life and thoughts. It's a great representation of grace, because we are all flawed, but God forgives us. I'm trying really hard not to give details about the plot line. Trust me when I say it is MUCH more than what is written on the back cover! I think I was two or three chapters in and I was saying OUT LOUD "Whatt???!!...

Look at me posting a recap within a week of it happening! What is LIFE???!!!! We kicked off Halloween 2016 on the Friday before. One of my students came in her costume (Which I love when they do that!!!!) She did have to take it off to play the piano! HA!  My mask for my costume arrived right before her lesson so I couldn't resist trying it on and snapping a pic!  Sunday after church I headed over to Addie Jane's house to see her outfit! Sadly, we forgot to dress up Cubbie and get my picture with him. He was a cubs player, complete with jersey and HAT!!! I die.. to go along with his outfit Addie was a Cubs Cheerleader! So an EMBARASSINGLY long time ago an Author named Lexi Eddings emailed me and asked if I would be willing to review a new book that she had written. I never EVER turn down a free book, so I of course said yes! The Book arrived, I was excited, I put it on my shelf, and forgot about it! ACKS!! I'm going to go with better late than never and share with you my thoughts on the book! Thanks again Lexi for sharing this book with me in exchange for my honest opinion. Coldwater Warm Hearts Club by Lexi Eddings   In the beginning I wasn't sure how I was going to like the book as the main character, Lacy Evans, was very self focused. Through the book her faith grew and she became much more concerned and aware of others. I was glad to see the change and see how she became more compassionate towards her Mom.   Lacy had not knows the circumstances of her Mom's childhood and had problems with her Mom's collecting of stuff and being unable to get rid of things....

So last weekend  3 Weekends Ago something FINALLY happened that we have been trying to have happen for over a year. My dear friend April, and I were finally able to meet up and I was able to meet her little girl Audrey Rose! Between both of our schedules, that seemed to be complete opposites of each other! Weather, Sicknesses, and April moving from IL to MI it has been a struggle! But we finally were able to get together and it was great!! These pictures are out of order, Thanks Blogger, and I am too lazy to fix them! So there you have it! April and Steve Arrived on Saturday late afternoon. We played at my house and then went out to eat at one of their must visits for Dinner- Arni's! And crazily enough neither of them ordered Pizza! I don't understand this?? We hung out and chatted, and then went our separate ways. Sunday after I was finished serving at church I met April and her family, and Muy Caliente and her crew at oh shoot. What I'm eating this week: Well it's Tuesday when I'm writing this, Monday I didn't eat much during the day, with running to Urgent Care and then teaching, but I did have Pea Salad and Spaghetti for dinner. I haven't meal planned this week, which is not good! What I'm reminiscing about: It seems like a lot of birthdays and anniversaries are this week! Jboz just had her 5 year anni, so I was remembering the fun of their wedding and how small Madi AND Bethy were!!! Time goes by so quickly. What I'm loving: The simple things in life. Cozy outfits, the weather cooling down a little bit to where I'm not running the A/C and sweating all day. Curling up on the couch under a blanket, and strangely enough I have been drinking hot coffee. I'm not really a fan of hot drinks, but with cooler mornings lately it's been nice! Granted my coffee is more of hot chocolate and creamer with a bit of coffee mixed in, but details! What I...

Now I'm not talking about crossing my legs, I'm fine with that, as the top of the knee is hitting the bottom of the knee, but curling up on the couch, laying in bed, I HAVE to have a pillow between my knees so my knee caps DO.NOT.TOUCH.  I didn't think this was so weird until I was telling some friends and their husbands about it at lunch the other day and they were all looking at me like I was nuts. It creeps me out when toilets are left open. I think they should be closed unless they are in use. When people come to my home and use my restroom and leave the seat open, I have been known to shut it when they are not looking. I'm terrified of mice. I don't...
